Program Mission Statement

Our mission at Western Wisconsin North Stars and Western Wisconsin Nova is to develop better hockey players and better people.
We believe skating, passing, and shooting are the foundation of the game. Before players can consistently understand and execute advanced systems and team concepts, they need confidence and ability in these fundamental skills. Through purposeful instruction, repetition, and competition, we aim to help every player return to their hometown team as a more skilled, confident, and dependable teammate.
Just as importantly, our responsibility extends beyond the ice. We want to help young athletes develop respect, accountability, work ethic, resilience, teamwork, humility, and leadership. Success will not be measured by wins and losses alone, but by the growth we see in each player and each person.
Our ultimate goal is for players to leave our program prepared to make a positive impact on their teams, families, schools, and communities—both during their hockey careers and long after their playing days are over.

Western Wisconsin Nova
Girls AAA Hockey Program
The Nova program gives girls in Western Wisconsin a dedicated AAA pathway emphasizing development, confidence, competition, and a positive team environment.

Program fee for selected players. Tryout fee is $25 per player.
Practice Time
24–30 hrs
Structured development time focused on skating, puck skills, hockey IQ, and team concepts.
Tournaments
4 total
A competitive tournament schedule while keeping June and most of July open for families.
